Women 10K Run Chandigarh sponsored by Social will be first ever women-only run in the Tricity being held on Mother's Day, 13th May. It’s a baby step to encourage women to adopt a healthy lifestyle through running. It aims at building up a culture and community of inspired women to adopt health and wellness and it will serve as a platform not only for women but for their families as well to adopt a healthy lifestyle and inspire the new generation.

It’s a ‘Women Only’ run marking Mothers’ Day. Don’t think you are too old, too young, too slow, too fat!!! Well, forget all that. There is nothing more real than you taking up a sport for your physical fitness, mental well-being, balanced nutrition, team building and even meeting women like you on a beautiful early morning! There is a no certain speed or distance requirement for joining the tribe.

Besides this, they are also supporting the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Badhao’ initiative.

We suggest that if you are an avid walker, follow the training plan and run your first 5k. And if you have already started running, then with a dash of guts, plus the training program, go ahead with a 10k run!

A guarded route, great hydration, cheering volunteers, the beautiful roads of Chandigarh and finally your family waiting for you at the finish line – priceless!
