Art Affair With Ochre Art At The Upstairs Club

About Upstairs Club - Sector-5, Panchkula

Upstairs Club, in association with Ochre Art, is organizing an art showcase from the 30th of March to the 2nd of April, 2018.

The focus is on contemporary art that is affordable with a selection of the work at under Rs. 20,000.

A SPECIAL PREVIEW will open the exhibition on the 30th of March from 11 am to 1 pm (Invite Only).

A MASTERCLASS will be held from 2:30-4:30 pm on the 31st where we will walk you through techniques of the great impressionist --Claude Monet-- and help you recreate a piece from his water lilies series with your own hands!

The art collection varies in style, approach, and medium with its 9 acclaimed artists.

Figurative works by artists like --Ramchandra Pokale, Baani Sekhon, Manoj Das, and Tailor Srinivas-- add drama to their canvases through communicative postures and expressive figures.

Landscapes and still lifes by --Ajay Deshpande, Somnath Bothe, and Aveena Sekhon-- are interesting and avant-garde, through their unconventional selection of hues and tones.

Offbeat paintings by --Nawal Kishore-- are vibrant and expressive with their Cubist inspired forms.
