Cheaper prices than last year it is!! Visitors attending this 3-day festival can also enjoy a joyride on a helicopter at an affordable price.

Cost Of Helicopter Ride Chandigarh

While last year, the helicopter ride at Rose Festival Chandigarh was priced at ₹2,300 per person, this year a ticket per person will cost only ₹1700. Besides, every rider will be insured with a cover of Rs 50 lakh by the company, same as the last year.

Details of Helicopter Ride In Chandigarh

The helicopters will arrive at the Parade Ground on February 27 and the rides will start from 28th February from 9 am till sunset for three days. The 6 seater helicopters will fly from the Sector 17 Parade Ground and go over the Sector 17 Plaza, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden and then return to the place of take-off, offering residents a beautiful view of the city. The duration of the ride will be six to seven minutes.

Residents and visitors can book their tickets for the Helicopter ride at the Rose Festival 2020 from Parade Ground and many other places. Soon counters will be set up at the Parade Ground and interested will be able to pay on the spot. 

The helicopter ride at Rose Festival Chandigarh was introduced during the 2017 festival. And last year, during the Rose Fest 2019, two helicopters ferried 2000 passengers in three days. This year, to ensure maximum public participation, MC is making efforts and keeping the charges of the helicopter ride very affordable.
