In case you were wondering what happened to our regular month-end Meetup, it's here! A STORY SLAM this time. Which means you get to wow your audience with your story and walk away with prizes.

 The theme for the slam is Wise Fools, in keeping with the World Storytelling Day celebrations. Tell a story that is dedicated to the ignoramus who lives life by disregarding the rules, but ends up being crafty, learned one. Mulla Nasruddin, Suppandi, Forrest Gump...these are your clues. It could also be your very own tale of being foolishly wise. Or wisely foolish. Whatever it is, we'd love to listen to you. 

Date: 25th March, Sunday
 Time: 12 PM 
Venue: The Rumour Mill, Chandigarh 
Cover charge: Rs. 150

FORMAT:

 1. 5 storytellers will be chosen to tell their stories.

 2. 6 minutes per teller and NO READING ALOUD from a sheet. The fun of telling a story is in the telling!

 3. Sending the synopsis is MANDATORY. Deadline - midnight of 22nd March. Mail it to chdstorymeetup@gmail.com

 4. Anything goes, as long as you tell a story without profanity or content that is flaming, controversial or bordering on the propaganda of any sort.

 5. Do stay away from politics, activism, religion and sex, unless you can present it in a manner that is not crude, offensive or in poor taste! 

6. Stories must be told in English or Hindi, Punjabi or a mix of these.
