Beer Meri Jaan - Lager N Barrel 2017 Is A Success!

A throwback to a fun-filled, crazy and one hell of a weekend, because it was Gaana presents Lager N Barrel festival sponsored by Carling at Aura Vaseela, Mohali.

Lager N Barrel, Tricity's only festival where you get Food, variety in Beers, Games and Live Music. So let me take you back to the festival and refresh your memories.

Right from the entrance, everything was on point. Who knew beer bottles could be used to create such fascinating masterpieces. Colourful walls saying the tagline - "Beer Meri Jaan'', beer-related props, a small corner of a DIY section where you could use your creativity to create anything using beer bottles, a line of games like twister, bowling, Jenga, lingo etc. were spotted at the festival. A special kid's zone was also there so that everybody enjoys at the festival.

A place with such amazing ambience requires great food and they left no stone unturned by presenting us a variety of Tricity's top-most restaurants like Amigo's Cafe, Devs American Cafe, Va Sano etc.

Each restaurant had a specially curated menu for the evening. Different cuisines were being offered - Indian, Continental, Chinese etc.

Coming to the main thing - BEER (because let's face it that we were there for beer only). Not only normal beer was being served in a plastic cup saying Beer Meri Jaan, but they also offered Beer Cocktails which tasted amazing!

And there was no compromise in the public's comfort. Along with small wooden logs which were used as chairs, they also offered mats so that people could sit anywhere and enjoy the music. Small cabanas were another attraction.

Music and beer is a great combination and so Lager N Barrel witnessed some very talented people on both the days. On the first day artists like Gurnazar, Raghu Dixit, Milind Gaba etc. took the stage and performed beautifully ranging from rock songs to soft Sufi songs.

On the second day, artists Mohammed Irfan, Shirley Setia, B Praak etc. were seen performing and the audience was mesmerized!

It was truly one great weekend filled with nothing but fun. And don't worry if you missed it this time because good things do come back and this festival comes every year. Catch them next year!
